AzaRae Brown 9th (Thespian) AzaRae was last seen in Moana (Ensemble). She enjoys track and singing. Her goal is to pass and get all her credits so she can get into a good college. She would like to thank Ms. Wolanin and the stage crew for all their hard work and accomplishment for this show. AzaRae would also like to thank her mom for supporting her and pushing her to be their best.
Aurelia Cogley 11th (Dance Leader,Cathy, & Thespian) Aurelia has been seen in Newsies as Bowery Beauty and a newsie, A Midsummer Night's Dream as fairy/ensemble, Beauty and the Beast Jr. as Belle, and The Lion King Jr. as Timon. She is in the Color Guard, Orchestra, and other things in the arts. Aurelia wants to be happy and love what she does forever and ever and ever! Huge thank you to everyone that has given her a ride here and back!!! And shoutout to all of her insanely talented buddies that she got to do this with :)
Lydia Corvino 9th (Dance Leader, Skater Dude, & Thespian) Lydia’s past theatre experience includes Peter Pan (tinker bell), Transylmania (Vonda), Super Duck (super duck), Jack and the Beanstalk (narrator), Big Bad (fairy godmother) Outside of school Lydia dances at Vyiba and has been in Vyiba’s Nutcracker for seven years. They not really sure yet of what they would like to do, but definitely something with either musical theatre or child care. Lydia would like to thank all of their past and present directors and choreographers, friends and family for their support, and the HSM cast for being such inspirations.
Diovanni Caraballo-Cruz 10th (Dance Leader, Cheerleader, Thespian, & James) Dio has appeared in Aladdin Jr. (Genie), High School Musical Jr. (Jason), The Lion King Jr. (Zazu), Newsies (Dance Ensemble), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Flute), Murder on the Nile (Steward), Peter Pan (Smee), The Little Mermaid (King Triton). Dio participates in McCaskey Cheerleading, Marching Band, Black Student Union, Orchestra, Concert Band, the Fall play, and the Children’s Spring play. Dio’s goals and dream after Mccaskey is to attend a four year college majoring in film. Dio would like to thank everyone in the cast for making the musical this year a fun experience and he is grateful for all the friends he has made from this.
Rose Derrico 11th (Kelsie Neilson) Rose would like to thank her family and friends for all the support. She would especially like to thank her best friend, Leilani, for shining the spotlight on her. Also, if you see that one costume girl, Becca, please tell her, “No, she cannot have Rose’s autograph.”
Anya Eden 9th (Dance Leader/Thespian) Anya past credits include Straight Outta Bethlehem (Starr), A Partridge in a Pear Tree (Maid), School House Rock (Dina), and Murder on the Nile (Character Parade). She is involved in dance, Band, Vocal Ensemble, Chamber Choir, and Orchestra. For the future Anya plans to move out of state and pursue a career in performing arts. She would like to thank her family for supporting her.
Mia Gonzalez 9th (Thespian) Mia has appeared in Annie as Duffy, Madagascar as Melman, The Little Mermaid as Ensemble, Moana as Pua and the upcoming Spring Play as Montana. Mia plays tennis and the piano, enjoys thrifting, photography, and jewelry making. Mia would like to thank their mother, father, and their close friends(they know who they are).
Jared Groff 11th (Zeke) Jared’s past theatre experience has been in Newsies (Romeo), Newsies (Henry), Willy Wonka Jr. (Charlie), Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Cogsworth), Lion King Jr. (Pumba), & Annie Jr. (Drake). He participates in both the Chorus & Orchestra. He is on the soccer team, tennis team, and the swim team. Jared is a member of the NHS and works at the Lancaster Sweet Shopp. After McCaskey he wants to go to college for a business degree, keep playing sports, and playing music. He would like to thank his parents and family for their support and the directors for pushing us into making this amazing show!!
Jessa Groff 10th (Brainiac/Dance Leader) Jessa has been seen in Alice in Wonderland, Annie jr, Beauty and the Beast, Willy Wonka, and Newsies. She plays soccer, field hockey, and participates in unified track. She also plays the violin! Jessa hopes to attend a four year college after McCaskey. She would like to thank all of the directors for their hard work, time, and effort they have put into this show. Without them none of this would be possible.
Adyn Heinley 9th (Alan) Adyn was seen in Moana Jr. at Wheatland Middle School in 2022 and an actor at Jason’s woods this past Halloween season. Outside of school he sings at his church’s Gospel Choir. In the future he hopes to become a mechanical engineer. He would like to thank his parents and director for pushing him to get to this point.
Olivia Houde 9th (Assistant Stage Manager) This past fall, Olivia was an assistant stage manager for Murder on the Nile. She plays the flute in Band and she is also a member of the BSU. She would like to continue to be involved in music and stage managing. Olivia would like to thank their family and Twizzy, the Tech Booth mascot. She would also like to thank Daniele for being both cast member of the week and stage crew MVP, as well as the other stage managers.
Lilly Houck 11th (Thespian/Susan) Lilly’s theatre credits include Decades with CPS Studios, Don’t Rock the Jukebox with Servants Stage, and Newsies with McCaskey High School. Lilly hopes to go into college for music performance and perform and write their own music. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her all throughout her musical endeavors!
Destinye Hurdle 10th (Brainiac) Destinye’s past theatre experience includes Sarabi in Lion king jr., the Hall Monitor in 321 second to None, and the Ensemble in McCaskey’s Newsies. Destinye is part of the Black Student Union, Orchestra, and the tennis team. Their dreams for after Mccasky are to learn more about music and theater.Destinye would like to thank their sisters for attending their performances through the years.
Raka Jenik 11th (Production Stage Manager) Raka’s past theatre experience has been Beauty and the Beast (Reynolds, crew), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (JPM, Assistant Stage Manager), Newsies (Assistant Stage Manager), Murder on the Nile (Stage Manager). Raka plays the bass and the flute in Jazz, Marching, and Concert Band. Outside of school Raka enjoys making art, making music with their friends, and the Eco Club. After graduation, Raka plans on staying creative and going into the media production industry. Thank you to Esme for being the realest, and the other ASMs and crew for being the illest.
Taina Johnson 11th (Thespian, Dance Leader, & Dance Captain) At RMS, Taina has appeared in The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Willy Wonka. Here at McCaskey she has been in Newsies, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Murder on the Nile. She is a member of McCaskey Color Guard and Orchestra. Taina is planning on a career in art or interior design. She would like to thank her family for their support and all of their friends who came to see the show!
Celia Keener (she/her) 10th (Sharpay Evans) At Reynolds Middle School, Celia was seen in Annie Jr (Molly), Beauty and the Beast Jr (Silly Girl), and Willy Wonka Jr. (Violet). At McCaskey she has been in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Mustardseed), Newsies (Les), and Murder on the Nile (Miss Ffoliot ffoulkes). Celia in involved with the tennis team, color guard, marching band, ski club, NLA, Chach-apella, and vocal ensemble. She is so thankful for this cast and crew and all the amazing adults, parents, and volunteers. Also, thank YOU for coming!
Gabriela Laureano Román 9th (Brainiac/Mongo) Gabriela’s past theatre credits include Annie Jr. as Pepper, Madagascar Jr. as Alex, The Little Mermaid Jr. as Adella/Chef, and Moana Jr. as Moana. Gabriela is involved with the Spring play, McCaskey girls’ tennis, and is a beginner bassist (self-teaching). In the future they plan on getting into a hard-to-get-into college and to be happy. They would like to thank their friends: Mia, Lydia, Wynter, Anya, Lucia, Makenna, Adyn, and Deaglan, for encouraging them to do better and be confident in their performance, motivating them through each rehearsal, keeping them on track between practice and other activities, and making every practice even more fun and exciting every time.
Annika Locke 10th (Brainiac/Gabriella u/s) (she/her) is thrilled to be performing in High School Musical! She has also recently performed in McCaskey’s Murder on the Nile (Kay Ridgeway), Newsies (Katherine, newsie) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Demetrius). She would like to thank her family and friends for their support!
Zayd Mattar 9th (Assistant Stage Manager) Zayd ran the spotlight for the fall show, Murder on the Nile. He is in Band and most of his time is spent in the theatre with the shows. After McCaskey, his plan is to go to college for engineering. Zayd would like to thank both of his parents for supporting him in everything he does, the other stage managers for being so awesome, Daniele for being such a fun fella, and also thank Twizzy for being the best cow at McCaskey.
Isaiah Miller 10th (Jock/Zeke u/s/) Isaiah has appeared in the following shows - Willy Wonka Jr. (Ensemble), Newsies (Bill), and Murder on the Nile (Beadseller #2). He plays guitar and flute, sings, and dances. Isaiah's goal is to become an actor to entertain people all around the world. He would like to thank his family for supporting him on their goals and the cast and crew of this production for helping him get more experience as an actor and also helping him find ways to improve as an actor.
Titus Newswanger 10th (Jock/Drum Line) In the past Titus has performed in Murder on the Nile as Simon Mostyn and in 3..2..1..Second to None as Resup Staff. He is a member of the McCaskey Marching Band, Vocal Ensemble, Orchestra, Chamber Choir, and Spring Children’s play. He wants to go to Thaddeus Stevens and get a degree in electrical engineering and then save money so he can go back to college if he wants to. Titus would like to thank the cast for being a really fun group of people to spend 2-3 hours a day with.
Yarelis Perez 9th (Thespian) Yarelis has been in two other musicals. They were Into the Woods Jr. (Little Red Riding Hood) and Annie (Orphan). Her other interests are singing and writing. Yarelis’s goals and dreams after McCaskey are to be able to help their community and have a job that is related to helping animals or children. She would like to thank all of her family for supporting her and encouraging her to try her best and to never give up.
Anthony Polash 11th (Deck Crew) This is Anthony’s first time on the McCaskey Crew, but he has done props in the past. After graduation, he hopes to go to college for statistics. He would like to thank Dad and Krissy.
Hana Rebek 9th (Dance Leader/Thespian) Hana plays the violin in the McCaskey Orchestra, runs Cross Country, and is a part of the McCaskey Mock Trial Team. Hana wants to attend school to become a lawyer and also continue their passion for music.She would like to thank her Mom and Dad as well as her directors Ms. Wolanin, Ms. Hall, and Mr. Broaddus for all supporting and believing in her!
Rebekah Reyes 9th (Brainiac) Rebekah’s theatre credits include The Little Mermaid Jr. (Tentacle, Shark, & Sailor) and an M-Uth Theater Workshop (Amanda). She enjoys singing and dancing, Art Club, & Comic Book Club. After McCaskey she plans to go deeper into musical theater. This could be either going to a theatre college or just experiencing more workshops - she is ready for the ride! She would first like to thank Ms.Wolanin, without her she wouldn’t have had this opportunity. Second, she would like to thank her mother and siblings. They all have motivated Rebekah to reach the farthest she can and have supported her through any outcome.
Zachary Roberts 12th (Coach Bolton) Zach has performed in Newsies (various roles), The Addams Family (ancestor), and Amal and the Night Visitors (ensemble).He enjoys to study math, less so history and theology. He is on the Swim team and also likes to cycle and lift weights. Zach is a member of the Band and the Jazz, Vocal, and Chamber Choirs. After graduation he plans to further his study in mathematics (hopefully at least a masters), to reach 200 lean, to be able to help people, preferably through the use of math, sing in an opera of some form, perform jazz at a level that could be considered professional, and to be a good father someday. Zach would like to thank both his mom and my dad, Mr. Broaddus and Mumma, and his grandfather.
Samantha Sallie 10th (Brainiac) Samantha performed in Martin’s Musical Into the Woods as the Wicked Step-Sister. She stays busy with soccer, basketball, cheer, cross country, track, piano, guitar, and dance. She would like to thank their whole family who supports everything that she does, even if the schedule can get a little crazy sometimes!
Lauren Snell 10th (Brainiac/Skater Dude) Lauren has been seen in Beauty and the Beast (ensemble) at RMS, Willy Wonka (Grandma Josephina) at RMS, and Newsies (ensemble) at McCaskey HS. Her other interests include playing the violin, tennis, and skiing. In the future Lauren plans to attend college and travel the world. She would like to thank the directors, cast and crew, her family and friends.
Makenna Urban 9th (Dance Leader, Thespian, & Dance Captain Assistant) Her past theatre experiences include The Lion King - Nala, Aladdin - Jasmine, The Little Mermaid - Ariel. She has been Irish dancing for 8 years at the Sabo School of Irish Dance. Her goal is to travel the world and become a Physical Therapist. She would like to thank her parents and fellow cast members for always pushing her to her limits!
Lucy Weaver 10th (Dance Leader/Brainiac) Lucy has been seen at Reynolds Middle School in Beauty and the Beast Jr. and Willy Wonka Jr. She is involved with the Ski Club, Field Hockey team, Vocal Ensemble, and Chach-apella. Wynona Wilson 9th (Thespian/Skater Dude) This is their first show! Wynona enjoys art, music, writing and nature. In the future they look forward to being independent and making art. They would like to thank their family, especially their brother.
